Challenge House presented with $14k donation from Hoptown Half-Marathon and 5k

Challenge House was presented with the proceeds raised during the 2020 Hoptown Half Marathon and 5K in memory of former mayor and founder Wally Bryan.

According to a news release, members of the Hoptown Half Marathon & 5K committee presented a check for $14,050 to the Challenge House Movement. During its first two years, the Hoptown Half and 5K has raised over $28,000 for local charities, and is ready to do so again in 2021, with the upcoming beneficiary not yet chosen.

Registration for the 3rd Annual Hoptown Half and 5K, which includes a return of the Wally’s Walkers One-Miler is now open. Interested participants can sign-up through the hoptownhalf.com website, which often has early bird discounts and more information on the event.
