14-year-old injured in Clarksville crash expected to recover
Two people have been charged for their alleged roles in the theft of six guns from a home in Hopkinsville.
Hopkinsville police charged 33-year old Emerald Forgette and 43-year old Sean Faught of Hopkinsville with six counts of theft of a firearm by unlawful taking Thursday.
The arrest citations say Forgette had knowledge of what was in the victim’s home, was in the residence on the day of the theft and that she set up the alleged crime.
Forgette was already on a pre-trial diversion for a previous burglary arrest at the time of the thefts.
Faught allegedly traded one of the stolen guns and reportedly admitted to detectives that he was also at the home on the day of the theft. Police say he had several photos of the stolen guns on his phone.
He admitted the guns were at his residence, but said they were left there by another individual.
No other details of the alleged crimes are listed on the reports.
