Two people were injured, including one who was flown to a Nashville hospital, following a wreck Monday night on Russellville Road.
A collision report from Hopkinsville police says 29-year old Hassaan Slaughter of Oak Grove had been headed east at a high rate of speed when he lost control at Memorial Field Drive.
His car went off the right side of the road at Sobriety Lane and struck a ditch and rock bed, causing it to overturn.
A passenger, 27-year old Michaela Jones of Hopkinsville, was ejected and had to be flown to Vanderbilt University medical Center with severe injuries. The report says she was conscious when officers arrived on scene.
Another passenger, 28-year old Devin Zahabi-Sutton of Hopkinsville, was transported by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center with neck and back pain.
Slaughter left the scene of the accident and police had not been able to make contact with him.
The crash scene was reconstructed by HPD, according to the report.
