The bracket is set for the Class 6-A football playoffs.
The postseason begins Nov. 7. Hopkinsville, the second seed in District 1, will play host to third seed from District 2 Daviess County. The two teams have not met this season, although the Panthers did defeat Christian County 60-7 earlier this season.
Hoptown is 5-4 and will wrap up its final regular season in school history this Friday night against W.E.B. Dubois at 7 p.m. Airtime is set for 6:30 p.m. on Newsradio 99.3 FM and 1230 AM WHOP.
District 1 fourth seed Christian County will travel to take on top seed from District 2 South Warren in Bowling Green on Nov. 7. The Spartans and Colonels have not met this year, although South Warren defeated Hopkinsville 33-21 earlier this season.
The Colonels are 1-8 on the season and will wrap up their final regular season in school history Friday night at Paducah Tilghman. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. with airtime set for 6:30 p.m. on 95.3 The Farm and 953thefarm.com.
