UHA, Caldwell County split tennis matches

University Heights Academy won four of six singles matches from visiting Caldwell County went on to beat the Tigers 6-3 Tuesday in a high school tennis match at the Ruff Park tennis courts.

Brad Simmons, Teerth Shah, Brock Kilijian, and Jack Conrad won singles matches for the Blazers.

In doubles play, Nick Fantini and Shah teamed to pick up an 8-2 victory over Noah Bailey and Elijah Thomas. Conrad and Tripp Tucker teamed to defeat Charlie Conger and Ben Mense 8-5.

Meanwhile, the Caldwell Lady Tigers defeated the Lady Blazers 8-1.

Brooklyn Chesnut had the lone win for UHA as she defeated Jayden Lamb 8-6.

UHA is scheduled to play host to Fort Campbell today.
