It’s going to be a cold day on the baseball and softball diamonds today, weather permitting.
In high school baseball, University Heights Academy (1-0) will open up District 8 play at home against Fort Campbell at 6 p.m. The Falcons lost to Christian County on Monday night and are already 0-1 in district play.
Heritage Christian Academy (0-1) will be at David Eddings Field this afternoon for a 5:30 p.m. matchup against Community Christian at 5:30 p.m.
Hopkinsville (1-1) was scheduled to play Logan County on the road this afternoon, but that game has been postponed to Friday night at Tiger Stadium. First pitch for varsity is set for 5:30 p.m.
In high school softball this afternoon, Christian County will play its second District 8 game of the season as the Lady Colonels (1-0) will play host to HCA (0-1) at 5:30 p.m.
UHA will be at home against Clarksville Kenwood at 6 p.m. tonight as the Lady Blazers look to improve to 2-0 on the season.
This afternoon’s high school tennis match at Ruff Park featuring Hopkinsville against Lyon County and HCA has been postponed due to the weather.
