Pennyrile region receives funding for road, recreational projects

The Pennyrile Area Development District (PeADD) Board of Directors received a positive report regarding recent grant applications for road and recreational projects at their Monday meeting. Alex Caudill from Governor Andy Beshear’s Office says Beshear recently announced 23 grants for bridge repair and replacement projects. The dates and times for the 2025 District 8 Basketball Tournaments will be set in a meeting scheduled for 9 a.m. on Feb. 20 at Hopkinsville High School.
