University Heights Academy got off to a slow start and dropped a 2-1 boys’ high school soccer game to host Marshall County Monday night.
The Marshals led 2-0 at halftime, but the Blazers began putting the pressure on in the second half. Hayden Hunt cut the lead in half with 25:08 to go in the game.
Despite the pressure applied, UHA couldn’t find the back of the net again and lost its second straight match to fall to 11-7 overall.
Eli Finch had six saves in goal for UHA, which had 11 shots on goal.
The Blazers finish their regular season Thursday at Hopkins County Central.
