The Hopkinsville Fire Department worked throughout the night to extinguish a fire that caused damaged to several storage units on Charles Garnett Drive.
Firefighters responded to the units around 8 p.m. after a passerby noticed smoke coming from the storage units. The fire quickly spread to an “all-hands” incident, with all four fire stations responding to the scene.
Fire crews worked to locate multiple different fires in space for complete extinguishment of the blaze. The affected storage unit was “NN” and all renters of units in that structure are asked to contact the property with any questions on the incident.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and there were no injuries reported.
