KLC awards Elkton Police Clerk with Excellence in City Governance Award

The Kentucky League of Cities has presented Elkton Police Clerk Megan Willenborg with a Level II Excellence in City Governance Award. 

According to a news release, city officials can complete education levels by attending KLC events and submitting outside educational credit from other municipal training and a Level II Excellence Award requires a city official to attend a minimum of 58 hours of approved training with two hours of ethics training.

Elkton Mayor Arthur Green says, β€œIt is always good to see staff achieve excellence in training in city governance through continuing education. This will allow for a better understanding of service to the citizens of the city.”
