The Kentucky League of Cities has presented Elkton Police Clerk Megan Willenborg with a Level II Excellence in City Governance Award.
According to a news release, city officials can complete education levels by attending KLC events and submitting outside educational credit from other municipal training and a Level II Excellence Award requires a city official to attend a minimum of 58 hours of approved training with two hours of ethics training.
Elkton Mayor Arthur Green says, “It is always good to see staff achieve excellence in training in city governance through continuing education. This will allow for a better understanding of service to the citizens of the city.”
