One killed in Clarksville single-vehicle crash

The Clarksville Police Department is investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash that occurred at the intersection of Memorial Drive and Richaven Road early Wednesday morning. 

According to a news release, officers responded to the intersection around 2:30 a.m. and it was determined that a vehicle had left the roadway for an unknown reason and struck a tree. The driver of the vehicle—who has been identified as 30-year-old Zachary Tablack of Palmyra—was pronounced deceased at the scene. 

The roadway was closed for several hours as crews worked to clean up debris and the tree that had fallen into the road.
