A traffic stop by the Hopkinsville Police Department Friday led to the arrest of a man on fentanyl charges.
Detectives stopped 27-year old Kaylob Meeks of Hopkinsville and a news release says the tag on the car had been expired since 2017 and his drivers’ license was suspended.
Further investigation determined Meeks to allegedly be in possession of methamphetamine and 196 pills believed to contain fentanyl.
Meeks was arrested and charged with trafficking in fentanyl and possession of meth, in addition to the counts for his tags and license.
