Investigation at a home on McLean Street in Hopkinsville Monday evening led to the arrest of a man on a felony strangulation charge.
The arrest citation for 30-year old Kevrol Hamilton of Hopkinsville alleges he grabbed a female victim by the throat and choked her during an argument, with officers taking photos of marks left on her throat.
Hamilton allegedly pushed the victim’s six-year old daughter to the floor as he left the scene in the victim’s car without her permission.
He was arrested a couple hours later at an East Ninth Street location and charged with first-degree strangulation, assault in the fourth-degree and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
