Hopkins County man arrested after shots fired incident

A Hopkins County man was arrested late Saturday night after he allegedly fired several shots from a gun in the area of a crowd on Eastwind Court in Madisonville.

The arrest citation for 35-Daniel Bean of Nortonville says there was a large group of people gathered in the 1800 block of Eastwind and that he fired three rounds into the yard, causing people and cars to disperse from the area.

Bean was arrested and charged with wanton endangerment in the first-degree.
