Hopkinsville’s 21st Annual Turkey Trot is coming up Thanksgiving Day morning, beginning in downtown at Founders Square.
Parks and Recreation Superintendent Tab Brockman says it doesn’t cost anything and you certainly don’t have to run the whole course to participate in the event that gets going at 8 a.m.
The Turkey Trot has become a holiday tradition for many local families.
While the deadline has passed to guarantee yourself a Turkey Trot long sleeve t-shirt Thursday morning, the city will have several still for sale for $25 under the Founders Square pavilion. Proceeds from the shirts will benefit the Hopkinsville Greenway Rail Trail.
