Western Kentucky could see a little bit of everything in the next week or so when it comes to the weather, including a first taste of fall.
Sean Poulos with the National Weather Service in Paducah said during this week’s conference call that after clouds and a chance of rain and thunderstorms early this week, there should be clearing and less humidity by Thursday and Friday.
The weekend is looking to be wet again, with the best chances of rain Sunday.
The beginning of next week could bring a preview of fall weather, with temperatures topping out at or just below 80.
The longer range forecast shows temperatures above normal and precipitation around the average for the latter half of next week.
There are currently no threats for severe weather in the forecast.
