The Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library is putting out the call for local artists to design and create a book mark that the library will use during the Summer Reading Program.
According to a news release, entries will be accepted from April 1 through May 2 and the contest is open to anyone ages five-years-old and up. This year’s Summer Reading theme is “Oceans of Possibilities.” Entries are divided into three age categories, including ages five to 11, 12 to 18 and 18 and older. The winner of each category will receive a $25 gift card and up to ten copies of their bookmark.
Entry forms are available at the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library circulation desk or from the library’s website.
Designs must be original and fit the “Oceans of Possibilities” theme—judges will select winners based off originality, creativity and neatness. For more information on the guidelines on the contest and how to submit an entry, visit the library’s Facebook page or call 270-887-4262.
