The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans for there to be daytime closures along a section of KY 164 in southern Trigg County starting Monday.
According to a news release, KY 164 will be closed from the intersection with South Road near the 18-mile marker extending eastward to mile point 23 near the New Hope Road intersection to repair extensive damage caused by recent flash flooding.
This section of Roaring Springs Road will be closed from approximately 7:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., each weekday when weather allows until the work is completed. Engineers are hopeful the work can be completed in about one week.
There will be no marked detour and trucks should seek an approved state route based on load weight.
