Ky. adds 2,728 COVID cases, 59 deaths

Kentucky gained 2,728 new cases of COVID-19 from Monday to Tuesday, along with 59 new deaths.

The positivity rate climbed slightly, now at 9.17 percent—there are currently 1,109 individuals with COVID-19 in the hospital, 305 in the ICU and 174 on a ventilator. While Christian and Todd Counties remain ‘orange’ on the COVID-19 state incidence rate map, all surrounding counties are listed as ‘red’.

The death toll in the Commonwealth is at 11,348.
