22nd ranked Michigan State defeated Louisville 73-64 in the ACC/Big 10 Challenge last night. El Ellis led the Cardinals in scoring with 22 points off the bench. The Cardinals are now 5-2 and open ACC play Saturday at NC State.

Women’s Scores: 16th ranked Kentucky improved to 5-1 with a 83-60 win over West Virginia. Rhyne Howard led the Wildcats with 27 points. Kentucky is back in action Sunday hosting Merrimack College with pregame at 12:45 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP.

11th ranked Tennessee picked up a 76-48 win over Tennessee Tech. The Lady Vols improved to 7-0 and play at Virginia Tech Sunday.
