14-year-old injured in Clarksville crash expected to recover
Two people have been charged following a traffic stop and an incidence in Clarksville where a suspect barricaded themselves inside of a home on Lindsey Drive Tuesday night.
According to the Clarksville Police Department, officers had initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle around 7:45 p.m. that contained individuals who were wanted on warrants. One suspect, 26-year-old Ashley Jimenez, was taken into custody at that time but a second suspect, 31-year-old Garrett Teague, fled on foot to a residence on Lindsey Drive and barricaded himself inside, along with his four-week-old child.
Negotiators were able to get him to come out peacefully and he was arrested without further incident. No one was injured and the child was released to family members for care.
The investigation continues and no further information was immediately available.
