The WNKJ radio Care-A-Thon fundraiser is coming up starting Thursday and all money raised goes towards keeping the station on the air.
WNKJ General Manager Ken Cummings appeared on WHOP recently and says the missionary radio has been on the air for 41 years, and this Care-A-Thon is one of the biggest fundraisers they have to keep going, as they are 100 percent listener funded.
Donations can be made October 7 and 8 by either going online to WNKJ.org, or mailing in a donation to their P.O. Box or by even calling into the Care-A-Thon at 877-885-9655.
Cummings says the Care-A-Thon kicks off each day at 6 a.m. and goes until 7 p.m. and supporters can listen on 89.3 FM.
