14-year-old injured in Clarksville crash expected to recover
A Clarksville man was critically injured in a two-vehicle accident Sunday morning on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Oak Grove.
It happened a few minutes after 11 a.m. at the Interstate 24 interchange and personnel on scene said it involved a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle and the car came to rest lodged under the trailer
The driver of the car had to be extricated by the Christian County Rescue Squad and Hopkinsville Fire and EMS Public Information Officer Payton Rogers said he was flown by Air Evac to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in critical condition.
Kentucky State Police is investigating and Oak Grove Police and the Christian County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
