The Logan County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed home invasion from early Saturday morning on Earl Road, west of Russellville.
Two victims told deputies that two men armed with pistols kicked in their front door just after midnight Saturday morning. They held the two occupants at gunpoint and demanded cash that they knew was hidden in the home.
One of the victims handed over approximately $340 she had saved to pay bills and her debit card. The suspects then took their cell phones and fled the scene.
A few minutes later the victims went to another person’s home and called for help.
One of the suspects is described as a white or Hispanic male with a skinny to medium build and medium-length black hair. He had a short black beard and stands about six feet tall.
The other suspect is a black male, standing a little over 6 feet tall and he has a medium muscular build with short black hair.
Anyone with information on the suspects should call the Logan County Sheriff’s Office at 270-726-2244.
