The Museums of Historic Hopkinsville have several events coming up, including a downtown walking tour to talk about the history and architecture in the city.
The walking tour starts at 6:30 p.m. this coming Friday and Executive Director Alissa Keller says she has plenty of fun information to provide while they explore downtown Hopkinsville and visit several restaurants on the tour.
It’s $10 to participate—unless you’re a museum member, then it’s free—and Keller says you can register online through their Facebook or call the museum directly.
If you can’t wait until Friday to get your fill of history, the museum hosts a book club on Thursday to discuss “There Is A River” by Thomas Sugrue, a biography about Edger Cacye.
For more information about upcoming events or activities offered by the museum, like the Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County on Facebook to stay updated.
