One of the suspects accused of shooting Delmour Moncrief to death at the Valero gas station on East Ninth Street in April was arraigned in Christian Circuit Court Wednesday afternoon.
Dalton Hall appeared virtually before Circuit Judge Andrew Self, along with public defender Eric Bearden, who entered a not guilty plea on his behalf and says he intends file a bond motion soon while they await evidence to be turned over in the case.
Judge Self set a pretrial conference for July 28, for the defendant to appear before Circuit Judge John Atkins.
Hall is alleged to have shot Moncrief at the gas station before fleeing the scene. Hall was later located and arrested in Alabama and extradited back to Christian County. He is charged with murder, tampering with physical evidence and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
He is lodged in the Christian County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
