The South Western Kentucky Economic Development Council has announced that the Kentucky Association of Manufacturers will be hosting a virtual roadshow on May 11 focused on issues of interest to regional manufacturers.
The virtual event is a partnership between Hopkinsville Community College and the KCTCS system, along with Advantage Kentucky Alliance and the SWK EDC as a co-sponsor. Agenda topics include workforce and recruitment, supply chain strategies, legislative advocacy to help manufacturers, local opportunities, and a virtual tour of HCC’s campus to learn more about the workforce opportunities being provided by the institution.
Executive Director Carter Hendricks says, “We are excited to co-sponsor this important event as it’s a great opportunity for our regional manufacturers to network and learn from one another while better positioning for the future. Our efforts to support existing businesses and industries is vital as we strive to help grow the economy of South Western Kentucky.”
Anyone interested in the Virtual Kentucky Manufacturing Roadshow can register online, or call the EDC at 270-885-1499 for more information.
