The Todd County Health Department gave an update on COVID-19 vaccine distribution in the county, with appointments still available for Wednesday.
Public Health Director Jen Harris says the vaccine they have available Wednesday is Moderna—she knows everyone wants to know about the Johnson and Johnson shot, but Kentucky isn’t expected to receive more of that til probably mid-April.
She says they have waived the requirement for their shots to only go to Todd County residents, so anyone from surrounding areas are invited to make an appointment.
Harris says they are still taking appointments for vaccines on Wednesday, and they’re also looking into the possibility of a future vaccine clinic during a weekend.
Anyone interested in making an appointment is asked to call the Todd County Health Department at (270) 265-2362.
