A Hopkinsville man was charged with felony theft after allegedly using the victim’s debit card to make online purchases.
According to the Hopkinsville Police report, investigation determined that in 2019, 41-year old Rashaun Johnson of Hopkinsville, used a victim’s debit card to purchase $973 without their knowledge or permission. The victim had reportedly lent their card to Johnson on an earlier to date to make a purchase for them.
Johnson was arrested on strength of a warrant and charged with felony theft.
