The Trigg County Hospital has acquired more of the COVID-19 vaccines and will have a clinic open to citizen 70 years of age or older on Thursday.
Appointments will start being accepted to receive a vaccine on Wednesday starting at 8 a.m. and can be made by calling the hospital at 270-522-0898. Appointments will be made on a first come, first serve basis, and vaccines will be administered Thursday between 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
Only two people can be registered per phone call—a mask must be worn when receiving the shot and an ID and insurance card must be present. Vaccines will be given at the Trigg County Complex Lexie Bush Convention Center and people are advised to now show up unless they have an appointment.
