Two men were arrested by Hopkinsville police Friday in relation to a stolen camper trailer and vehicle.
An arrest citation for 48-year old Michael Killebrew of Hopkinsville says he was captured on surveillance video pulling a stolen camper with his truck. Police say Killebrew admitted to giving another individual the idea to steal the camper and text messages were found from Killebrew stating how to do it.
Killebrew allegedly admitted to taking the camper to Tennessee and then told police where they could find it at his mother’s home in Calloway County.
Police also arrested 37-year old Brandon Herring of Hopkinsville, who admitted he knew the camper was stolen and that he didn’t notify police. He also allegedly admitted to stealing a vehicle that was used to steal the camper.
Killebrew and Herring are both charged with felony receiving stolen property, $10,000 or more.
