One person was injured in a two-car crash Friday afternoon on Skyline Drive in Hopkinsville.
A collision report from Hopkinsville police says 57-year old Reta Manire of Hopkinsville was attempting to turn left from Kroger onto Skyline and drove into the path of an eastbound vehicle driven by 19-year old Tristen Dennis of Hopkinsville.
Dennis was unable to avoid striking Manire and their vehicles collided.
Manire’s passenger, 24-year old Felicia Keen of Hopkinsville, was transported by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for head and leg injuries.
Police say a review of surveillance footage showed Manire traveling at a high rate of speed before the crash.
