CCHD reports county’s 23rd COVID-19 related death

Christian County gained its 23rd COVID-19 related death Tuesday, and nine new confirmed cases of COVID-19.

That’s according to the Christian County Health Department, which reports that the 23rd victim is a 70-year old white male who had other underlying health conditions. Officials send out their condolences to his friends and family.

The nine new cases raises the overall total in the county to 1,337—of that, 196 are considered active and 1,118 people have recovered from the virus.
