There will be more closures of railroad crossings in Christian County set to begin Monday.
According to CSX officials, the closures will allow for maintenance work to take place on the railroad crossings, and trains will be bringing supplies in. Starting Monday in the evening, the crossings at Main Street in Pembroke, John Rives Road and Casky Lane will close and stay closed for approximately two days.
The closure will resume on August 24 for several days. Motorists can anticipate a signed detour for those work sites that will be in place longer than one day.
