Beverly Fort appointed teacher recruiter for CCPS

The Christian County Public School System has appointed Beverly Fort as teacher recruiter for the district.

Fort has been serving as the education coordinator at Murray State University’s Hopkinsville campus. She previously taught at Morningside and Millbrooke Elementary Schools and was later Curriculum Specialist at Millbrooke, according to a news release.

In her new position, Fort will identify, recruit, and retain teachers in the district, while coordinating and assessing training opportunities for current teachers.

Fort holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree and Rank I in Administration from Murray State University.
