Two homes struck by gunfire, no injuries

Hopkinsville police are investigating a pair of shooting incidents from late Monday night and early Tuesday morning.

Multiple shots were fired into an apartment in the 300 block of East 16th Street shortly after midnight. A Hopkinsville police report says two adults were inside, but neither was injured.

Two adults were also inside a home in the 300 block of South McPherson Avenue that was struck by gunfire at about 11:20 p.m. Monday, but they also avoided injury.

Shell casings were located in the area, according to Sgt. Martin Lopez.

No arrests have been made and anyone with information on the incidents should call Crime Stoppers at 270-887-TIPS.
