14-year-old injured in Clarksville crash expected to recover
The bicyclist that was injured in a wreck on College Street in Clarksville Monday has died from his injuries.
According to the Clarksville Police Department, 65-year old Douglas Perryman succumbed to his injuries at Vanderbilt University Medical Center on Wednesday.
As previously reported, the collision occurred at approximately 10:45 p.m. on College Street on Monday when a vehicle driven by Rhyan Sinclair was traveling eastbound in the intersection of 8th Street. The bicycle was operated by Perryman and he was heading northbound at the time of the crash, when the bicycle collided with passenger side of the vehicle.
Perryman was flown to Vanderbilt, where he passed away. No charges have been filed against the driver of the vehicle.
