The Courier Journal reports the Kentucky High School Athletic Association’s Board of Control is to meet Thursday. On the agenda is a measure regarding the month of June and the summer dead period. High School sports is currently shutdown through May 31st.

TSN reports Commissioner Gary Bettman is holding a late afternoon news conference to announce some details concerning the NHL’s Return to Play plan. The NHL and NHL Players Association agreed to a 24-team playoff format over the weekend. There’s still no timetable on when workouts would begin or when games would take place. The Nashville Predators would be one of the 24 teams to make the post season.
