Hanson man charged with meth trafficking

Kentucky State Police have arrested a Hanson man on meth trafficking charges following an investigation in Hopkins County Saturday. According to a news release, troopers were notified of possible drug trafficking occurring at residence in Hopkins County, where 45-year old Nathan Roberts of Hanson resided. Governor gives COVID-19, numbers continue to show decline

Testing continues to increase across the Commonwealth, including among the most vulnerable of the population in long term care facilities. CCHD gives COVID-19 update, Jennie Stuart to allow limited visitation

The Christian County Health Department reported 111 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Christian County during their Tuesday press conference, and that recoveries are up to 95. Local students named WKU 2020 Scholars of the College

Some local students have been named Western Kentucky University’s 2020 graduates as Scholars of the College. According to a news release, 41 students from the college have been recognized as excelled graduates. The Scholar of the College is the baccalaureate degree student in each undergraduate college with the highest cumulative overall grade-point average and a minimum of 60 semester hours earned in residence. NHL commissioner Bettman to announce Return to Play plan

TSN reports Commissioner Gary Bettman is holding a late afternoon news conference to announce some details concerning the NHL’s Return to Play plan. The NHL and NHL Players Association agreed to a 24-team playoff format over the weekend. There’s still no timetable on when workouts would begin or when games would take place. The Nashville Predators would be one of the 24 teams to make the post season.
