Christian County gained three additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 from Tuesday to Wednesday, and the number of recoveries rose as well.
According to the Christian County Health Department update, those three cases put the county at a total of 103 since the pandemic began. Of those confirmed cases, only 13 are considered ‘active’ and 87 people have recovered from the virus.
Breaking those active cases into age categories shows two in the pediatric age group, ten in the young adult to middle aged grouping, one in the older adult category and zero currently in the elderly age group.
The free testing site at Tie Breaker Park remains open weekdays from 9 until 11 a.m. and Saturdays from 8:30 until 11. The Oak Grove testing site will be open May 26 at 1705 Thompsonville Lane from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.
