Three displaced by Kenwood Drive fire

Three people were displaced by a kitchen fire early Thursday morning at a home on Kenwood Drive.

The Hopkinsville Fire Department was called to 2741 Kenwood about 4:50 a.m. and Captain Michael Pendleton says they were able to quickly extinguish the small fire.

Hopkinsville police had been dispatched to a disturbance in the area of the home at the same time and Captain Pendleton says the cause of the blaze remains under investigation.

No one was injured in the fire.
