The Todd County Board of Education appointed Camille Dillingham as its acting superintendent at a meeting Tuesday night.
Dillingham has been overseeing day-to-day operations as the district’s only assistant superintendent since Ed Oyler resigned as superintendent February 7.
Dillingham has held numerous capacities in the district over 26 years including teacher, principal, preschool coordinator, curriculum instruction director, personnel director, director of districtwide services and director of assessment.
Board Member Andrea Jones says they chose to use the Kentucky Association of School Administrators to assist in the search for a new superintendent.
