The Pennyroyal Area Museum building will reopen later this month with new exhibits inside a renovated building.
The grand re-opening is set for February 27 and Museums of Historic Hopkinsville Executive Director Alissa Keller notes that’s the anniversary of the building’s original opening as a post office.
A chamber ribbon cutting is set for 3 p.m. that day and Keller says attendees will be able to go inside and look at all of the newly constructed exhibits.
Keller says they kept the building as close to its original state when possible during the over year-long renovation.
The grand re-opening will be free and open to the public to attend.
