A Central City man and a child were severely injured in a wreck Saturday on Interstate 69 in Hopkins County. A gun and video game console were stolen out of vehicles in separate incidents over the weekend. Handicap lift stolen off vehicle

Hopkinsville police are investigating after a handicap lift was stolen off a vehicle Friday. It was removed sometime between 12:30 and 1 p.m. Friday at an address in the 200 block of North Main Street, according to a report filed over the weekend. It belongs to a 61-year old Hopkinsville man and no suspects are named on the report.

Man arrested following pursuit

A pursuit of a vehicle by Hopkinsville police ended Sunday afternoon with an arrest on multiple charges. Officers knew 28-year old Marcus Brown of Hopkinsville to have an outstanding warrant and attempted to make a traffic stop on his vehicle, but he allegedly kept driving, nearly striking a police cruiser on Woodmill Road at one point. Kentucky State Police are investigating after a man allegedly shot and killed his adult son Sunday in Muhlenberg County. Troopers were called to the 3000 block of State Route 176 about 5:20 p.m. and determined 70-year old George Rudy Cundiff of Greenville had been in an altercation with his son, 42-year old Christopher Cundiff of Greenville.
