The Salvation Army of Hopkinsville and Walmart are teaming up to ‘Stuff the Bus’ and help provide children in need with school supplies this school year.
According to a news release, on August 3 from 8:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the Walmart Supercenter on Clinic Drive and the Walmart Neighborhood Market on Canton Pike participants will receive a list of school supplies that can help fill the bin.
The act of providing school supplies to students in need provides them a boost of self-confidence and sets them up for a positive and successful school year. All donations made at “Stuff the Bus” campaign events will remain in the local community.
For more information about the initiative, contact the Salvation Army.
