Hopkinsville Community College hosted the Regional Entrepreneur Conference Wednesday, allowing small business owners or those considering going into business an opportunity to learn and network.
Lea Martin is the Workforce Development Liaison at HCC and says they entered the day with a record number of registrations.
She says the annual event is an occasion for entrepreneurs to learn from the guest speakers and from each other in breakout sessions.
Chris Wooldridge with the Murray State College of Business praised Martin and HCC, saying the event brings people together to nurture their success as small business owners.
Topics for the day included business planning, direct sales marketing, online sales, branding and veteran-owned businesses.
The conference continues until 2:30 p.m. at the HCC Auditorium Building.
