The Hopkinsville Police Department has released some information about a wreck on Cox Mill Road Saturday that sent a woman and a child to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
According to the Hopkinsville police report filed by Officer Corey Smith, a vehicle operated by 47-year old Kristina Grace of Hopkinsville had been traveling south bound on Cox Mill when she failed to navigate a curve. The vehicle went off the road and overturned into a ditch. Grace complained of multiple body injuries and was taken to Jennie Stuart.
A passenger in the vehicle, 9-year old Ty Grace, complained of wrist pain and also went to Jennie Stuart for treatment. Both occupants were reportedly wearing their seatbelts.
