Report: Edelen set to run for governor

Former state auditor Adam Edelen is expected to run for governor this year.

Citing a source, WKYT reports Edelen will make an announcement on Monday.

He would join Attorney General Andy Beshear and House Minority Leader Rocky Adkins who have said they’ll run for the Democratic Party’s nomination for governor.

Republican Governor Matt Bevin said last year that he plans to run for reelection.
