The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has announced plans for road and bridge work in Trigg County this week.
A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans milling and paving along Roaring Spring Road in Trigg County starting Monday.
The work zone runs from the Burkley Road intersection extending eastward to the New Hope Road intersection, a distance of about 1.4 miles.
Installation of work zone signage and milling is expected on Monday to be followed by the start of asphalt paving on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, a contractor will perform deck repair on the bridge over Muddy Fork Creek on Cerulean Road starting Tuesday.
Traffic will be restricted to one lane and motorists are urged to slow down and use appropriate caution in both construction zones.
