Preds fall to Flames in home opener

The Nashville Predators lost to the Calgary Flames 3-0 in their home opener at Bridgestone Arena. The Preds put 43-shots on goal but could not solve Flames’ netminder Mike Smith. Pekka Rinne gave up all three goals in defeat. The Predators fell to 2-1-and-0 and host Winnipeg tomorrow night at 7 in Bridgestone Arena.
