The Junior Auxiliary of Hopkinsville will be giving away their $4,000 community grant this year and they are now accepting applications for possible recipients.
President Sarah Whitaker appeared on WHOP Monday to talk about the club and the grant. She says those interested in applying should include information about the organization and what the money would be used for.
To apply, Whitaker says to go online to Hopkinsville-j-a dot com and submit one by August 20.
The recipient of the grant will be announced sometime in September. The grant is made possible not only through fundraising work done by the Hopkinsville Junior Auxiliary and its members, but also the support of the community through the group’s programming and events.
